Join Us for the 2023 5K Oktoberfest Run! The German International School Washington D.C. is proud to announce the return of our highly anticipated: annual event, and we can't wait to welcome you and the entire community on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
After a brief hiatus, our 5K Oktoberfest Run is back and better than ever! Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just love to soak up the vibrant fall atmosphere, this event is for you. Run, walk, or cheer on your friends and neighbors as they take on the challenge.
Indulge in the spirit of Oktoberfest until 4pm with lively music, delicious food, and a celebration of German culture, as our school grounds are transformed into a festive paradise, bringing the heart of Germany to the DMV area. See you all at the finish line!

Our school is currently seeking corporate sponsorships to support our upcoming 5K Oktoberfest event. Invitations to partner with GISW are being sent out this week to a list of targeted individuals and companies.
