DSW Orchestra Urgently Looking for Strings

Pop, soundtrack music, musical, classic - the orchestra of the German School plays music of very different styles. Currently about 20 musicians of grades 5 to 12 as well as some parents and teachers practice on Tuesdays in the 9th and 10th period (3:15 pm to 4:45 pm). New instrumentalists are always welcome – currently we are urgently looking for strings.

At present the following instruments are represented: violins, cello, flutes, oboe, clarinets, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet and trombones. The orchestral instrumentation is completed by bass guitar, piano and drumset, which enables us to play modern music as well.

The only requirements are that you enjoy making  music with others and have about two years of experience with an orchestral or band instrument.

We are looking forward to welcoming any musician. Students, parents and teachers who are interested in playing music are asked to contact Ms. Becker:
