Field Day at the Elementary School of the DSW

On June 2, 2016, our Elementary School students took part in track and field activities at our annual field day. During the 50 meter run, long jump, and shot put, we determined the highest achievers in each age group. It was beautiful day and the students achieved excellent results. Students competed for certificates of participation, winner and even honorary certificates by Joachim Gauck, President  of Germany.

In addition to the Elementary School teachers, many parents volunteered as judges and supervisors. The parents also put together a delicious buffet for our athletes. A big thank-you goes out to our wonderful parents!
