German a capella group Vocaldente visits DSW

The German a cappella quintet, Vocaldente, visited our school on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. They entertained the entire school community with a mix of witty choreography and an amazing vocal program. The group visited  Preschool, Elementary School and  the Upper School and held workshops with our choir students as well as our third and seventh graders. During the workshops, students were guided through the process of making instrumental sounds and the choir workshop culminated in a group performance of “Only You". During a lunch concert, the group wowed students, teachers and staff with a varied repertoire including "Let's Misbehave" a Cole Porter song, and' ”Footlose” by Kenny Loggins. A fantastic rapport was evident with children and adults alike who were all thoroughly engrossed throughout the concert and workshops. Some couldn't even wait to get their autographs. Everyone had a great time and several Vocaldente fans were born!

We thank the Friends of the German School for their financial support.

Thank you, Vocaldente, for a wonderful music experience!
