German School visits American High School

A cooperative field trip with Classes 4a and 5a: “Sempre Verde” (“Evergreen”),  at the Prince George’s Performing Arts Center, Suitland, Maryland on Friday, November 7th, 2014.

Last week, classes 4a and 5a made their way to the south-eastern part of the metro area in one of our school buses.  There, they enjoyed a musical performance in the auditorium of Suitland High School accompanied by class teachers Herrn Frederich and Herrn Wagner, and trip organizer, Herrn Brown.  The theme of the program fit well with the current topics of recycling, environmental protection and daily waste of raw materials… and the kids learned a little Italian along the way!
Thanks to the Kids Euro Festival 2014, Ms. Maria Saldaña of Suitland High School, and of course to our own DSW who supported this field trip.

- Andrew Brown, Rasmus Frederich, Philipp Wagner
