Host families wanted

In June, right before the end of our school year, a group of students from Germany will visit D.C. for a one-week field trip. Teacher of this class is Dr. Teresa Klier, former music teacher at the DSW.

The field trip organization is looking for host families who are willing to provide room and board for one or two students age 16 - 17 for one week. The preliminary program plans the arrival for the evening of June 14th and the departure for the evening of June 21st. Sightseeing in downtown is planned from Monday to Friday, so that the students should either be taken to a metro station or directly to some place downtown D.C.

If you choose to be so kind and host a student for that week, please contact Ms. Linnenbrink ( or Dr. Klier ( directly. We sincerely appreciate your commitment and your support!
