Letter by the Principal of the Elementary School

Dear School Community,

The teaching staff of the Elementary School has to bid farewell to Mr. Philipp Wagner. Sadly, he is leaving the DSW to return to Germany.

Mr. Wagner has been teaching at the DSW since the school year 2010/2011. Currently, he is the homeroom teacher for one of our 4th grades as well as the Deputy Principal. He was responsible for creating timetables, scheduling of substitutes and planning recess supervision, to name just a few of his many duties.

Mr. Wagner successfully helped organize two great project weeks and he arranged the very exciting Filmfest, which students and  teachers will remember for a long time to come. Mr. Wagner also had a lot of fun teaching a film workshop in the Afternoon Program, which was in high demand among all of our students.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Wagner for his outstanding teamwork and continuous cooperation as well as for his outstanding support.

We would like to wish him and his wife Ulla all the best in their future endeavors.

Commencing with the school year 2015/2016, Mrs. Britta Scholl will assume the position of Deputy Principal at the Elementary School.  Mrs. Scholl has been teaching at the DSW for many years and gained in this capacity an abundance of experience. Additionally, she has also acquired experience as a Deputy Principal while teaching in Germany.

I am looking forward to working with her. We wish Mrs. Scholl a lot of success in her new role!

Monika Rodrigues, ES Principal and the teaching staff of the Elementary School
