Parking Lot Safety Week

Dear school community,

These past two days have been a wonderful start into our “Parking Lot Safety Week” and we are very pleased to be handing out far more Gummi Bears than parking tickets. Lots of drivers and pedestrians receive rewards and only a few need reminders.

If you receive a ticket from one of our volunteers, please remember that the $4.00 fee is only a suggested donation to our Student Council (SMV) who is an active and motivated part of our volunteer team.  The main goal of this week is not to make money, but to remind all drivers to be safe, courteous, and to familiarize themselves with the parking lot regulations. Most of all, to remind everyone of the importance of the safety of our children.

We are aware that there are not enough parking spaces in the parking lot especially during pick-up time after school. Please be considerate of other drivers and expedite your pick up time.

Many of the drivers in our parking lot are student drivers. All adults, please keep in mind how important it is to be a good role model for the next generation.

Here are a few further photos of our volunteers.

We are here to assist you. Please don’t hesitate to ask for help.

Best regards,

The "Parking Lot Safety Week" Volunteer Team
