Preschool Principal: End of the Year Letter

Dear Parents,

The year draws to an end. We can look back on a great and exciting time with many activities and highlights in our Preschool. In preparation for Christmas, we have been very busy crafting, decorating, and singing. Many eager and talented singers sang wonderful Christmas songs each morning during circle time.

Even St. Nicholas praised the singing of the children. During his visit he read from his golden book and described all the nice and “naughty” things the children had done over the past few weeks.

Everybody had a lot of fun baking cookies. The classrooms were transformed into real bakeries and the children helped enthusiastically baking lots of Christmas cookies. We had decorated our classrooms at the beginning of the 1st Advent and the rooms are glowing with beautiful Advent wreaths and Christmas stars. The children really enjoy this Christmas season with its lights, its smells, and its sounds. Each Preschool group also has an Advent calendar with little gifts for the children.

On behalf of the Preschool team, I would like to thank especially all the parent representatives. as well as all of our volunteers who have helped us during these past months.

We wish you a peaceful holiday season, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Best wishes,

Mojdeh Khojasteh
Preschool Principal
