Preschool: World Day of the Book

On Wednesday, March 12, 2014, the Preschool had a pre-celebration of the World Day of the Book. Mr. Brachmann, a parent of the Seahorse group, visited the Preschool to read the book “Could you tell me the way to Sesame Street” to all the children of the Preschool. The children who are between the ages of 2-5 years really enjoyed the story of the book and its enlarged pictures. They were very attentive while the book was read to them, and the little red Elmo figure, which Mr. Brachmann showed to the children, brought big smiles to their faces. The story was translated from English into German by Mrs. Voss the preschool librarian. A big thank you to Mr. Brachmann and Mrs. Voss for the work they put into this project in order to make this event a success.
