The Elementary School of the DSW celebrates “Fasching” (Carnival)

On February 12, 2015, we will celebrate Fasching. All SES-students may come to school in their costumes. All students first through fourth grade will change into their costumes after their second period. After lunch/recess, all students - including SEL - will change back into their regular clothes. So, please do not forget to send along regular clothing for your SEL child.

We invited a puppet theater group to our Fasching-Party. The students will watch the shows „Animal Tales“and „The little Red Hen’s Wacky Week“. Teachers will dress up in animal costumes as well. We are excited to see if the children will be able to figure out all the different animal puzzles. Maybe they would like to dress up as animals as well?

In closing we are greeting you with the German carnival greeting “Alaaf”!
