Dancing is fun, improves social interaction, physical coordination, and keeps you fit! The ballroom dance course offered at the German International School is based on the British World Dance Council's International Dance Program. The course will start with the foundation of classic and modern social ballroom dance, and the lessons comprise both Standard and Latin dances. The class teaches general ballroom basics, including proper position, rhythmfootwork (for example the difference between toe and heel steps) leading and following as well as the basic steps and one or two figures of various dances.

Dances usually include: Slow Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Disco Fox, Rumba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Salsa, Jive/Swing
