posted September 2017: NANNY AVAILABLE for morning hours
Now that our younger child is entering preschool, our wonderful nanny of seven years is looking for regular morning hours work while continuing to work with us in the afternoons.  Marcela is available Mo, Tue and Thurs until 2.30 pm and Wed and Fri until 1 pm
She has been with us for 7 years, and we consider ourselves fortunate to have found her.  She provided wonderful, loving care of our children as an always diligent and resourceful nanny; she is a warm and affectionate person and the children respond in kind to her.  Marcela speaks Spanish with our children and English with us, she regularly drives and she is CPR certified. We benefited tremendously from her numerous thoughtful recommendations on childcare that we often adhered to and always to our child’s benefit. She frequently went to the libraries, as she was well acquainted with the various schedules for early child story time; she also established contact to other nannies and children for playgroups so that our children always had playgroups with children the same age.  She plans interesting days with the children during when there is no school; when we ask to visit a specific event she does so as well.
Our children are attending GISW, live in Bethesda (zip code 20817, close to Old Georgetown Road) and would like to continue to work with Marcela in the afternoons  during school days and sometimes full days when there is no school. We are open to nanny-share during days without school and your child / children can be at our house as it is large, sunny and suitable but we are open to your preferences as well. Please contact: Marcela at matygem79@hotmail.com or Barbara at BarbaraRehermann@aol.com
